I Just Don’t Get It

The very people and groups who call everyone racists and sees racial overtones in literally everyone and everything are the very ones who when they first see a person see first the  color, race, religion, clothes and so forth first and do not see the person first.   And they also think that a black person, Asian or gay person are so weak and inept that they can’t think or fend for themselves.  And who appointed these asinine liberals to speak for all groups in the world;  did anyone ask these folks if they need or want these people  to think for them.

I have seen obsessive animal lovers who say they won’t eat meat because it means an animal has to die and it is cruel.  But I have noticed over time that these same people always without fail will make sure the dog or cat food they buy for their animals have “meat” in it.  I don’t get it,  is that meat in the animal foods not really meat – I don’t think so,  I’ve read the label.

I don’t get it when I hear liberals rail against capital punishment as being cruel and inhumane but these same folks are all pro abortion.   So somehow killing and mutilating babies is somehow ok?  Of course the other side is a bit inconsistent also as Pro Life usually means Pro Capital Punishment;   I am in this group I am afraid as if killers are put to death then they will not be hurting other people in the future.

On the lighter side when going to the grocery store to pick up toilet paper I find that it is not called toilet paper,  it is called bath tissue.  Now who among us has ever bathed with and dried off with “bath tissue”?   It is toilet paper folks – always was and always will be.

Easter Is Coming Up

Easter is coming up pretty soon (couple weeks). Everyone is buying eggs to color and hide and I kind of like that also; I remember an Easter egg hunt at my Grandma Knights Methodist church in Mascotte FL. What fun, what memories. Of course as an adult I now know the real significance of Easter – a time of sadness that turns into a time of joy as Jesus sacrifices himself for us on the cross.

Waterford Weslyan Church has a huge Easter Egg hunt for children at a local park. This is a way to reach out and do something for the community much as Jesus has reached out to us in saving us. If I can get it to work I am going to try to insert here a YouTube video about Easter.

Dear President Trump

Just a simple request.   Please do not let the Media, Entertainment Industry or Liberal Activists make you back away or water down what you know needs to be done.   In the short time you have been in office it is like a breath of fresh air.    And the folks you have appointed so far are wonderful and just what this country needs to get back on track.

So please President Trump stay positive and know that most Americans are behind you and praying for you and your family.

I Have Never. . . .

I have never seen so many people do and say so many stupid things as I have as we near the innauguration of Donald Trump.   The “tolerent” left is just going crazy trying anything they can think of to taint the innauguration and all of it is just plain stupid and annoying to those of us who are still sane.

I am thinking that if the media stopped giving these crazies a bully pulpit this whole mess would just fade away very quickly.    But that  is it isn’t it?    The main stream media “wants” to find and print as much as possible to taint Donald Trump and they now don’t ever care if it is true or not.

If the left believed half of the political correctness crap they are preaching then they wouldn’t spew the venom that keeps coming out of their mouths.

And the snowflakes that are supposed to be getting a college education to help them get and keep jobs for their future well being;  the liberal education they are being indoctrinated with will get them nowhere and probably ensure that they live in their parents basement and be on welfare most of their lives.    They are offended and need therapy because they saw Donld Trumps name in chalk on a sidewalk;   do they really think they should never have to see or hear anything that they don’t agree with.   When we were kids we always said “sticks n stones will break my bone, but words will never hurt me” and we went on with our lives knowing that the government can never legislate all of the hurt out of life – it isn’t possible;  and oh yeah other people have a right to their own set of likes and dislikes.  Here is some of the crap our kids are forced to learn or experience in colleges:

  • Students are using “ze” instead of “he” or “she”.
  • Declaration of Independence Is Racist And Students Should Not Be Forced To Learn It
  • There Is An Actual Trauma Center For Millennials Who Can’t Cope With Adult Life
  • All over the country, the term “manhole” is being replaced with the terms “utility hole” or “maintenance hole”.
  • Liberal Writer Wants You To Know Salad Is Sexist And Oppressive
  • According to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, it is illegal for employers to discriminate against criminals because it has a “disproportionate” impact on minorities.
  • Government workers in Seattle have been told that they should no longer use the words “citizen” and “brown bag” because they are potentially offensive.
  • Med School Assistant Takes Disability Leave After Seeing Noose in Joke Display
  • University of Florida to Offer Counseling for Students Offended by Halloween Costumes
  • Be careful what you say at Virginia Tech. Chances are, it could be a microaggression.
  • Earlier this month a study by Northeastern University, Boston, appeared to conclude that men who smile at women and behave in a warm, friendly, chivalrous manner are guilty of “benevolent sexism” that was, in its own weird way, as harmful as shouting abuse at a woman.
  • Having too many white superheroes in one movie.
  • John Hopkins University allowing a Chick-fil-A on campus is an act of terror against the LGBT community.
  • The Princeton University HR department has largely wiped the word “man” from its vocabulary.
  • The Color Of Park Ranger Uniforms: Apparently, we need to change the color of Park Ranger uniforms because it might frighten illegal aliens entering the parks illegally or something….

OK I can’t include all of the ones I’ve been collecting,  I would need about 20 more pages.

I will leave you with the words of a TV personality from my youth.  “Whether you win or lose be a good sport”.     I do wish the adults of today would learn the lesson we learned as children.

NOTE:  before I leave this I just want to say the Trump was not my choice in the primaries but once he got it I took my lumps and went on with life and yes I did vote for him.

Election 2016–Not Over Yet

After Donald Trump won the election I was afraid things would get very boring with no more campaign nonsense in the news and on Facebook or Twitter;  I was even thinking of taking my two Blogs that I dedicate to pro Conservative and anti Liberal sentiment,  and to repurpose them to other content.

But with the Liberals rioting in the streets and demanding recounts and putting Nancy Pelosi back in the limelight I can see that the run of the mill politicians will give me enough fodder as least for now to keep my blogs in the political arena.

People are using words as weapons as a way to shut people up from talking about anything they don’t agree with.   College kids are afraid when they hear or see anything they don’t agree with and they get this from the colleges and Professors who all tend to be Liberal and Socialist and are indoctrinating a whole generation of kids who now will not be able to survive in a real world.  They don’t even know which bathroom to use anymore.

We have Liberals who persecuted a bakery because they stood up for their faith and refused to make a cake for a gay couple.  Yet the Liberals being the hypocrites that they are are refusing to work with Trumps wife because of their “beliefs”.  And the news media. . . I rarely listen to the news from them anymore;  I barely even listen to Fox News as they took a giant step to the left this past year.

2016 Presidential Election–Trump

Since I am not a very wordy verbal guy this will be just a short thought.

This is something I haven’t heard anyone talking about yet but it just might be important to note that Donald Trump won the election while spending much less money than his opponent.  By using social media he was able to get his message out to mainstream America and he was able to garner a lot of support and excitement.  Now this to me means that this signals a new era in political campaigning because now there might be people who would never have run for office because they felt they could not afford it but now will be seriously considering it.  This opens up running for office whether it is local or national to us “common folk” who are not lawyers or rich businessmen.   This nation and everyone in it needs to give President Elect Trump a giant “Thanks”.    And those of us who usually sit back and complain about the way things are need to think about getting involved and improving our nation and communities.

The Church’s Orphan Mandate

I saw this in an E-Mail I receive called “Laugh & Lift” by Chris Long.

Anyway, I thought  this message was so important that I wanted to share it with everyone.   After getting permission to copy this item here it is:

The Church’s Orphan Mandate
Let this sink in – the top # is children waiting for adoption in the United States and the bottom # is the number of churches in the state.

Untitled

There are more churches in America than there are children who need to be adopted! If every church in the U.S. saw to it to just take care of adopting ONE child, then there would be NO kids awaiting adoption in foster care and there would actually be church families on a waiting list waiting for kids to even be available to adopt. That means the solution is possible – every church can be a part of taking care of orphaned and abandoned kids. The government doesn’t have the strategy and success because it is the mandate of the CHURCH to care for orphans, widows, poor and oppressed – it’s never been the government’s mantle. We can do this church! This is how we change generations!
The children included in this map are awaiting adoption in the foster care system. Because these are the state agencies, there would be little or no fees involved for adoptive families. Contact your local DSS or foster care agency to learn of the waiting children in your state.

Election : Graham, Pastor Duke, Huckabee

Franklin Graham

Our state has early voting, and I voted this week. As I got out of my car, a lady approached me and asked if I wanted a list of the Progressive candidates. I told her no thank you. You know, the word Progressive is just a way to try to make secular and godlessness sound better and more up-to-date. I told this lady that Progressives are for the most part atheists—and they’re not going to stand for God’s laws and for His direction in our country. Beware, and be sure to know what you are voting for and who you are voting for.
“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.” (Psalm 20:7)

Mike Huckabee

Given this week’s news, I didn’t expect Hillary Clinton to be in a very cheerful mood. But I’ve noticed that just about every time I’ve seen a clip of her speaking this week, she was launching an aggressive attack of some sort. Maybe at James Comey, but usually at Donald Trump, whom she repeatedly portrays as a mean, crazy, vicious, sexist, racist, dangerous lunatic who will blow up the world with nuclear weapons – and even worse, he insults people!

Meanwhile, Trump gets …in his shots, but I mostly see him talking about policy: how he’ll repeal and replace Obamacare, cut taxes, bring back manufacturing jobs, restore law and order, rebuild inner city neighborhoods and so on. I also notice that he does it with a lot of humor. He throws in funny jabs at the media, sarcasm, hyperbole and self-deprecating ad-libs. Of course, these exaggerated humorous asides are misconstrued by the media as literal expressions of what he seriously believes, so they can pretend to be OUTRAGED!!! But if you actually see the speeches, you realize that Trump is having a ball joking with the crowds, and his optimism about America and his chances of winning is contagious. Hillary scowls that Trump is the “angry” candidate, and the media echo that accusation; but when you see him on the stump, he comes across as a Happy Warrior, fighting hard but enjoying every minute of it.

That’s why I predicted months ago that he would win, in the face of all the media assurances that Hillary was unbeatable, and I’m standing by it. I think voters are finally starting to see through the 24/7 character assassination of Trump and realize that he’s offering them positive reasons for vote for him, not just fear and paranoia about his opponent. That’s what most voters are hungry for.

All that is the perfect set-up to this story from Pew Research that looked into which candidates’ supporters really are the more tolerant of those with diverse views that differ from their own. Some call this a “shocking result,” but I’m not even surprised. I suspect you won’t be, either.

After so many WikiLeaks revelations, Americans might be tempted to echo Bernie Sanders and say they’re “tired of hearing about Hillary’s d***ed emails.” But Bernie shouldn’t have said that, and neither should we. At the link, an explanation of why the news that broke last night of the FBI finding 350 previously-unknown (not duplicate) Hillary Clinton State Department emails on Anthony Weiner’s laptop is a major deal, possibly the first crack in exposing what could become “t…he biggest scandal in US history.”

Also worth noting: the story was broken by CBS News. Not Fox or Breitbart or the Internet. The MSM have made it their duty for the past year to act as Hillary’s palace guard, even sending her campaign their stories to edit before printing them. If even CBS senses that what’s coming is so bad, there’s no point in trying to protect the Clintons anymore, and therefore news outlets had better get back to protecting their own reputations, then the dam might be about to burst. Stay tuned.

Duke Hergatt

My favorite prophet in my youth..Stepenwolf” said “There’s a monster on the loose and has our heads into a noose and he stands there watching”. I think they were right.
The monster is a corrupt “progressive” machine that has our schools, mainstream media, one and a half of our political parties, the executive branch of our Government, half of the Supreme Court and about half of congress.
I believe this election and all the scandals will bring their evil house of cards down or seal their deal. I pray for the innocent to prevail and evil to be defeated. Evidence is mounting. The cockroaches are scurrying away from the light. Innocence need not hide or bleach emails nor fear any leaked info. Man this is awesome spiritual warfare.
